About me
Hi! I’m Kate. I have been practicing as a pediatric occupational therapist for 20 years. I graduated from Boston University in 2003. I began my career in a preschool setting before transitioning to a sensory gym where I serviced children from 18 months to 10 years of age. I have worked in a variety of settings over the past 20 years including early intervention, private and public school, private practice sensory gym and a school for children with hearing impairments. I have been trained in a variety of treatment modalities including but not limited to, learning without tears, SOS feeding, therapeutic listening, the astronaut training program, yoga therapy in the classroom and have completed many courses related to sensory processing, and modulation. I am also a wife and mother to two girls of my own. I love working with kids and am passionate about using a collaborative approach with parents to help each child meet their potential.
